An established aerospace manufacturing company in Dorchester is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join its quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aerospace inspection experience who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and has a strong eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections in line with customer specifications and quality standards
- Inspect aerospace components and ensure compliance requirements are met
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Use a variety of inspection and measuring equipment
- Support continuous quality improvement across production
Requirements
- Previous aerospace inspection experience essential
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
- Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Experience completing and reviewing FAIR documentation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
