We’re currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy engineering business based in Ferndown.

The role
As a TIG Welder, you’ll be carrying out high-quality TIG welding work to engineering drawings and production specifications. The role will involve working with a variety of materials and components depending on workload and customer requirements.
You’ll be expected to maintain strong quality standards while working efficiently as part of the wider manufacturing team.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• TIG welding to engineering drawings and specifications
• Producing high-quality welds to required standards
• Working with fabricated and engineered components
• Carrying out self-inspection of completed work
• Supporting wider production and manufacturing activities where required
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

What they’re looking for

• Previous experience working as a TIG Welder
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Reliable and able to work effectively within a team

Desirable experience:

• Fabrication experience
• Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, or thin gauge materials
• Background within precision engineering or manufacturing
