New Directions Education is looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Harrogate. You’ll play a key role in keeping learning on track when teachers are absent—no lesson planning required!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading classrooms and keeping students engaged with pre-set work
• Creating a positive, calm, and focused environment
• Managing behaviour with confidence and consistency
• Supporting students to stay on task and achieve their best
• Providing brief feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with young people, in a classroom setting
• A confident communicator who can take the lead in a classroom
• Strong organisational and classroom management skills
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one through us)
