Our client, a reputable family-owned car garage situated in Haslemere, Surrey, is actively seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional aiming to work within a well-equipped, supportive environment that offers a competitive salary package and stability.

Benefits:

• Competitive basic salary between £35,000 and £45,000, dependent on experience
• Overtime potential elevating earnings up to £48,000
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:30pm, with no weekends or late nights

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using the latest diagnostic tools and equipment
• Perform repairs and servicing efficiently, maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks on both passenger and commercial vehicles
• Work on hybrid and electric vehicles, demonstrating adaptable technical skills in emerging sectors
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members across two nearby locations to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic, with diagnostic and repair expertise
• Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle systems is advantageous but not essential
• Relevant technical qualifications; Master Technician status is desirable
• Strong troubleshooting skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Full valid UK driver’s licence
• Friendly and professional attitude, committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
