CAD Technician Job in Ferndown
We are proud to be representing our well established and successful manufacturing client in Ferndown. They are a specialist within the construction industry, and they are looking to recruit a new a CAD Technician to join the team. The role of the CAD Technician will be to work within their existing contracts team.
Salary and Benefits:
- A salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
- Monthly payment intervals
- Working Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week, between 8.00 am – 4.30 pm
- Company pension scheme
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing projects from initial design stage through to manufacture
- Producing drawings using AutoCAD
- Preparing Technical and Sample submittals
- Liaising with Contractors, Architects and End Users
- Document management utilising online Intranet based document control systems
- Preparation of associated documentation to ensure compliance
- Liaison with manufacturing partners
Skills and Experience:
- Previous background within the Construction Industry would be desirable
- Experience of working with AutoCAD
- Focused team player
- Commercially aware
- Ability to work under pressure and to precise deadlines
- Ability to instigate changes for continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills
- Full product and system training will be provided
- No known health risks for this role
